Day 1 Friday, November 8, 2024

This morning we arrive in Nashville and check-in at the Gaylord Opryland Resort, recognized around the world for its extraordinary service, luxurious accommodations, and first-class entertainment. Under majestic, climate-controlled glass atriums, you’ll be surrounded by nine acres of lush indoor gardens, winding rivers and pathways, and a sparkling 44-foot waterfall.
Then, we will embark on a professionally Guided City Tour of Nashville, viewing some of the homes of the rich and famous country stars.
During lunch, you’ll have free time to have lunch and explore downtown Nashville’s Honky Tonk Row. Enjoy a drink at Jason Aldean’s Club or listen to live music at Dierks Bentleys Whisky Row Saloon.
This afternoon, we visit the Country Music Hall of Fame, where you can hear rare recordings of the country’s legendary performers, along with costumes, instruments, and memorabilia.
Dinner tonight is included at Santa Fe Cattle Company serving up hand-cut stakes and more.
The Grand Ole Opry is the show that made country music famous. Emanating from Nashville, TN since 1925, the Opry showcases the new stars, legends, and superstars of country music. Tonight, experience the Grand Ole Opry Show – Nashville’s must-see attraction and the world’s longest-running live radio show. Day 3 – Sunday, November 10, 2024 (B,L,D)
Full breakfast is included at the hotel. Travel to Bon Aqua, TN
Visit Johnny Cash’s Storyteller Farm & Museum – the 107-acre farm that Johnny Cash owned for over 33 years, and the place that he used to escape from public life. Explore the displays in the 1870 Farmhouse, and learn stories of the private side of Johnny Cash. Don’t miss the iconic “One-Piece-At-A-Time Car”– which is based on Johnny’s 1976 #1 hit song – as well as the lavish Johnny Paycheck Cadillac. Watch rare video footage, and listen to a live music performance.
Lunch is included at Colton’s Steakhouse & Grill. Following lunch, we’ll be joined by Mark Alan Cash. Hear stories about Johnny from his nephew, singer Mark Alan Cash, as he sings tributes to his Uncle Johnny.
Tour Historic Collinsville, a recreated village that offers a glimpse into mid-19th-century life. It contains era-specific homes and buildings of the 1830s-1870s. Experience life before and after the Civil War on a self-guided tour of 18 restored log homes and outbuildings filled with authentic period furnishings and artifacts.
Enjoy the Bluegrass and Biscuits at the Tanglewood House. This evening, join the fun and try your hand at making homemade biscuits followed by a delicious dinner and entertainment by a top-notch bluegrass band!!
Day 4 – Monday, November 11, 2024 (B,L,D)

This morning we depart for an included lunch, tour, and a wine tasting at Belle Meade Plantation. Tour the exquisitely decorated 1853 Greek Revival Mansion filled with original furnishings and period antiques. Hear the stories of Belle Meade’s history that made Belle Meade Plantation one of America’s premier Thoroughbred farms, and discover the eight other historic outbuildings on the plantation.
Enjoy free time this afternoon to enjoy the activities and amenities available at the Opryland Hotel. Take a stroll—drink in hand—and tour the resort’s soaring atriums decked out with decorations, lights, water features, shops, and more than 50,000 tropical plants inside the resort’s gardens. Head over to Jack Daniel’s for an authentic whiskey tasting, and if you’ve got a sweet tooth, the “Jack and Honey” gelato at Bravo Gelato will not disappoint. Or, you may choose to take a ride on the Delta Riverboat Cruise. The ride features a tour through a 4.5-acre indoor garden in the resort’s Delta Atrium.
Following our included dinner at Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen, we are entertained by Nashville’s Songwriter, playing some of the hit songs he’s written and answering any questions you have about the recording industry.
Day 5 – Tuesday, November 12, 2024 (B)
Full breakfast is included at the hotel at your leisure and depart for Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
Today we will visit Dollywood for their Smoky Mountain Christmas Celebration. Explore a winter wonderland adorned with more than 6 million twinkling lights and dozens of towering Christmas trees that add a cheerful shimmer to their award-winning attractions. Enjoy numerous performances of classic Christmas shows to celebrate this most wonderful time of year. It will warm your heart and lift your spirit.
Dinner stop en route to your hotel (on your own). Check-in at our overnight hotel near Abington, VA.
Day 6 – Wednesday, November 13, 2024 (B)
Breakfast is included at the hotel. Check-out and begin our journey home.
